PRIORITIES
Nathan is running for the School Committee to help secure Milton's position as a top school district. By combining his experience in leading complex organizations through change with his dedication to quality public education, he aims to provide every Milton student with a modern and engaging learning experience every day.

District Finances
Milton Public Schools is facing a financial crisis, but it does not have to be this way. Nathan will advocate for the funding we need to ensure our children receive the education they deserve. Nathan will provide close oversight and ensure accountability from district leaders so that we are making smart and accurate decisions with school resources.

Student Learning
Our students and teachers have produced strong learning outcomes, including positive progress recovering from pandemic learning loss. However, there remain meaningful gaps between student subgroups. Nathan will help district leaders modernize our teaching and learning strategies to ensure we are using new curriculum, closing learning gaps, and delivering high-quality special education services.

Facilities
Milton is a magnet for young families. Because our school district has attracted so many families, our student enrollment has outpaced our available space. We no longer have enough space to educate all of our children in the way they deserve - class sizes are getting too large and we are taking over every inch of our buildings for additional classroom space. Nathan will partner with town and state officials to ensure we create modern facilities that are both affordable and meet our space needs.

Trust and Safety
The Milton community must rely on district and school committee officials for clear and timely information about what is happening in our schools. Whether it is about student safety, district budgeting, or staffing in our schools, Nathan is committed to transparent communications with our community.
